Calfskin Bible

Recently I bought some beautiful undyed calfskin leather. This beautiful calfskin leather is hand-dyed to the color of your choice giving it a beautiful hand-rubbed look. I can put a medium sheen or a glossier sheen on it. It is a very smooth leather that has medium stiffness, similar to the goatskin, giving it great body and makes it the perfect leather for bibles. The picture to the right was my first bible in this calfskin. The customer wanted a brown with red/orange tint to it.

To the right is a bible covered in calfskin leather dyed brown with gold stamping on the spine. The customer's response when he received his bible back was: "Thank you so much for my "new" old Bible. I Love it!!! You did a great job. The calfskin is just what I wanted, its full of character and the color is beautiful."
